Sailing on an ultra-luxury Seabourn cruise or expedition is unlike any other form of travel. Open the door to the incomparable value of all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruising on Seabourn. Indulge in your home away from home onboard our intimate ships with private, yacht-like atmosphere, pampered by intuitive, personalized service. Ensconced in your spacious oceanfront suite, you can explore all seven continents, savor gourmet dining that rivals the finest restaurants in the world and enjoy complimentary premium wines and spirits. All with the added benefit that you only have to unpack once.

Seabourn pioneered small-ship, ultra-luxury cruising, and continues to represent the pinnacle of that unique style of travel. Our fleet of ultra-luxury ships, comprised of all ocean-front suites, carries between 264 and 600 guests each, brought to life by an award-winning team numbering nearly as many as the guests. Seabourn’s ships attract accomplished people who enjoy traveling well and sharing unforgettable moments and adventures with other interesting, like-minded people. A great many of them have found Seabourn to be their preferred method of travel and return regularly to sail with us again and again.

Seabourn History
Seabourn has been reinventing small-ship ultra-luxury cruising for over 35 years. In 1986, a small group of luxury hospitality and cruising executives embarked with a goal to provide the relaxed elegance previously available only to owners of the world’s most fabulous private yachts. Click here to learn more about Seabourn’s history. Our fleet’s first three ships: Seabourn Pride, entered service in 1988, Seabourn Spirit entered service in 1989, followed by Seabourn Legend in 1991. Over the next two decades, these three ships built an extraordinary legacy of personalized, intuitive service and guest-centric experiences.

In 2009, Seabourn raised the bar with the debut of Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as “a game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment. Seabourn launched two identical sisters, Seabourn Sojourn in 2010 and Seabourn Quest in 2011. Although larger than the original Seabourn ships, these 3 ships carry just 458 guests and offer a wealth of amenities made possible by the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruise industry, including the largest spa on any luxury ship and generous private verandas on 90 percent of their suites. Our first 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Encore, was delivered in 2016 and a second 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Ovation, was delivered 2018. This new class of ocean vessels featured private verandas for every suite and expanded Seabourn’s complimentary fine dining offerings.

Seabourn Expansion: Expedition Cruises
In 2022, Seabourn redefined expedition travel with the launch of our first ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship Seabourn Venture, joined by her sister ship, Seabourn Pursuit in 2023. Designed and purpose-built specifically for expedition cruising in unprecedented elegance and ease, these ships will bring travelers further, deeper, and closer to the most coveted and remote destinations on earth. Onboard these incredible vessels, you will be joined by our world-class 24-person Expedition Team, delivering immersive experiences, and guiding you throughout your entire expedition. You will explore a world where ultra-luxury meets adventure in state-of-the-art custom-built 6-person submarines, Zodiacs, kayaks, on other-worldly hikes and nature walks and more.

Our fleet allows us to offer the award-winning Seabourn experience to more travelers, in more unique regions than ever before. We would be honored to welcome you to your ultra-luxury home away from home on your next journey.

Ports of Call
Barcelona, Spain
City Barcelona

Barcelona is the cultural heartland of Spain, yet its first language is Catalan, the native tongue of the proudly independent Catalonia region. Stroll down the shady, tree-lined Ramblas between street musicians and elegant bistros. Then perhaps visit the venerable Gothic cathedral, Picasso Museum or enjoy the architectural genius of Antonio Gaudi's Church of the Holy Family.

Palamos, Spain
City Palamos

Sete, France
City Sete

Nearby the charming port of Sete is Carcassonne, the best surviving example of a medieval walled city which dates back to the time of the Roman Empire. While the knights and their horses have long been gone, their presence can still be felt as you walk along Carcassonne's winding streets. Explore the town's boutiques and cafes. Be sure to sample "cassoulet," a delightful combination of meats cooked with beans which is the city's specialty.

Sanary-Sur-Mer, France
City Sanary-Sur-Mer

Nice, France
City Nice

Known as the "Queen of the Riviera" this cosmopolitan resort city is abundant in boutiques, nightclubs and museums, including the fascinating Chagal Museum. Browse along the elegant beachside Promenade des Anglais. Or, venture further along the Cote d'Azur to witness the galleries of Vence, Monte Carlo's glamorous casino, or Monaco's royal allure.

St. Tropez, France
City St. Tropez

No introduction is needed for what is perhaps the world's best known and most fashionable resort on the Riviera. Immerse yourself in the splendid scenery of the Cote d'Azur with an excursion to the hilltop villages of Gassin and Il Ramatuelle, and the new town of Port Grimaud, built to resemble an old Mediterranean fishing village.

Monte Carlo, Monaco
City Monte Carlo

Portoferraio (Elba), Italy
City Portoferraio

Portoferraio, with its lemon-yellow buildings, is among the most elegant of the old Mediterranean ports. Beyond the town lies an island of great natural beauty. The hills are covered with pine forests and the scent of wildflowers fills the air; discover the island's medieval and Napoleonic history on a countryside tour.

Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
City Civitavecchia

The port of Civitavecchia is the gateway to The Eternal City, where all roads lead. Mad traffic careens past monuments of the great civilizations of the past. You will want to see it all: the soaring inspiration of St. Peter's, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel; the flow of life along the Spanish Steps, the Coliseum, the Via Veneto and Trevi Fountain. Be sure to leave time for la dolce vita in one of the piazzas.

Amalfi, Italy
City Amalfi

Amalfi is on Italy's western coast, facing the Mediterranean Sea. Nearby is Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano that buried the ancient city of Pompeii. The island of Capri is just offshore. Naples, the region's largest city, lies northwest of Amalfi.

Lipari, Italy
City Lipari

Giardini Naxos, Sicily

Palermo, Sicily, Italy
City Palermo

Once regarded as Europe's grandest, most beautiful city, Palermo is still quite impressive. The Four Corners of Palermo, where each 17th-century Spanish Baroque facade is adorned with a statue, is one of the city's most memorable sights. The Fontana Pretoria, often called the Fountain of Shame because of its nude Florentine figures, is also worth noting. Tour the famous Norman Cathedral and Capuchin catacombs. A day trip to Monreale to see the famous 12th-century cathedral is also recommended.

Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy
City Cagliari

As Sardinia's capital, Cagliari is both a thriving modern city and a fine example of the varied history of this Italian island. Explore the Roman amphitheater, Spanish townhouses, and Pisan watchtowers. Antiquities from the native Nuraghi culture and from the Phoenician era onward are well-displayed in the National Archaeological Museum.

Bonifacio, Corsica, France
City Bonifacio

With its spectacular cliff-top setting, this ancient Corsican citadel has withstood many sieges. The 15th-century steps, cut high in the rock face, are evidence of this history. Today, medieval buildings crown the slopes leading to a fortress which overlooks the sea.

Calvi, France
City Calvi

Mahon, Minorca, Spain
City Mahon

Minorca, also spelt Menorca, is considered the gem of the Balearic Islands. Mahon, its most important port, is also its capital. Journey to the top of Monte Toro, the highest mountain on the island, and savor a most spectacular view-occasionally as far as Majorca. Explore Binibeca, a fishing village rich in vacation homes and villas built in the old Catalan style. Or escape to the lighthouse at Favoritz and enjoy a secluded beach.
