Silversea Cruises
General
The 'jewel in the crown' of the Royal Caribbean Group, Silversea is the leading luxury and expedition cruise line-acclaimed for both its all-inclusive lifestyle offering and its global destination portfolio. Launched in 1994 as the world’s first all-inclusive, luxury global cruise line, Silversea officially became part of the Royal Caribbean Group in July 2018 when the Group purchased two-thirds of the cruise line’s shares, subsequently acquiring the remaining shares in July 2020.

Silversea provides one of the most inclusive offerings in luxury cruising. Voyages include butler service in every suite category; a choice of restaurants on every ship, as well as in-suite dining around the clock, and premium beverages served throughout the ship; and a true door-to-door service, with private executive transfers and flights included as standard, among other inclusions. Silversea’s guests travel deep into immersive journeys to all seven continents, enjoying a curated selection of immersive experiences in the world’s most remarkable places.

In addition to four luxury expedition ships, Silversea counts eight ocean vessels in its fleet. Among the most comfortable and spacious ships at sea, each of the cruise line’s ships enjoys an atmosphere of elegance, conviviality, and whispered luxury. Silversea has welcomed six ships to its fleet since June 2020 – Silver Origin, Silver Moon, Silver Dawn, Silver Endeavour, Silver Nova and Silver Ray – bringing the fleet’s tally to 12.

Silversea continues to innovate in the luxury and expedition cruise industries. The launch of Silver Moon in October 2020 marked the introduction of Silversea’s groundbreaking S.A.L.T. culinary programme - now also available onboard Silver Dawn, which joined the fleet in November 2021, as well as Silver Nova and Silver Ray, which launched respectively in July 2023 and June 2024. S.A.L.T. enables travellers to dive deep into the world’s richest culinary cultures, taking regional food and drink as lenses through which guests can engage with the soul of a destination. Aboard Silver Dawn, Silver Nova, and Silver Ray, guests enjoy the Otium wellness programme - an indulgent innovation in wellness at sea, which, inspired by the Roman lifestyle, focuses on pampering and pleasure over sacrifice and delayed gratification.

In July 2022, Silversea welcomed Silver Endeavour to its fleet-the world’s most luxurious expedition ship, designed specifically to take travellers to the world’s most remote destinations, including both Polar Regions. Complete with state of the art amenities and the highest space-to-guest ratio in expedition cruising, Silver Endeavour strengthens Silversea’s position as the leading luxury expedition cruise line, broadening the industry’s most diverse polar offering.

Building on the ongoing sustainability efforts of Royal Caribbean Group, Silversea took delivery of Silver Nova in July 2023, and Silver Ray in June 2024, pushing boundaries in sustainable cruise travel with the introduction of pioneering technologies and energy efficiency standards. Both ships incorporate innovative design features with asymmetrical, horizontal layouts.

Silversea’s largest office is in Miami, at the Royal Caribbean Group Headquarters. The brand also maintains offices in Monaco, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.

Dining

Atlantide

Atlantide offers guests our quintessential dining experience. Combining contemporary elegance and hallmark Silversea service, this classic restaurant offers our signature fine dining. Atlantide is one of our best-loved eateries, and on Silver Nova we have given it an updated design. Large picture windows, sophisticated lighting design, plus a warm colour spectrum give Atlantide a blend of high-end and whispered luxury. The menu prides itself on superb ingredients and sublime flavour combinations, from caviar to lobster to gorgeous, melt in the mouth deserts.

S.a.l.t. Kitchen

Are you hungry for something new? Eat your way through the places on your cruise in the S.A.L.T. Kitchen. Enjoy destination-inspired menus, including the Terrain menu, which offers recipes and flavours specific to the port visited, and the Voyage menu, which draws inspiration from the best flavours of the voyage. Pull up a chair and savour every taste of your cruise in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. S.A.L.T. Kitchen is the opportunity for all guests aboard Silver Nova to experience the very lifeblood of their destination.

La Terrazza

Our hallmark Italian restaurant is as varied as the food-loving country itself. La Terrazza aboard Silver Nova offers an unparalleled destination dining experience, from its expansive floor-to-ceiling windows to its large, outdoor terrace. Enjoy all the tastes of the different regions, including the best homemade pasta, fresh antipasto, bowls of steaming risotto, hearty ragu and delicious tiramisu. Be sure to try one of the bold wines from the cellar, to wash it all down.

Silver Note

Where do you go if you want great food and a brilliant atmosphere in a relaxed and sophisticated setting? Silver Note of course! Harkening back to the old school days of dinner and dancing, this venue embodies a feeling of fun and sense of glamour that is unequalled in the industry. Jazz bands and soul singers play live as you sample delicate tapas style dishes with a gourmet twist. We guarantee a superlative night of entertainment in the gorgeously designed dinner venue.

The Grill

Silversea’s much-loved casual dining restaurants serves a delectable range of burgers and salads by day, and turns into our famous Hot Rocks table BBQ concept by night. Found in our brand new eating venue The Marquee, The Grill is quite simply, the best place to eat between sea and sky. If you like flavoursome meals cooked to perfection, a casual laid back atmosphere and OMG views, then The Grill is the answer to your prayers.

Spaccanapoli

Nothing says Italy quite as well as a hot, fresh pizza. Spaccanapoli is a slice of Naples, where you’ll taste deliciously thin, freshly made pizzas, topped with creamy mozzarella and minimalist toppings. The light and airy pizzeria forms part of our new al-fresco eatery The Marquee, and is the perfect choice for diners who want to be dazzled by our talented pizzaiolos spinning the dough in the open-air kitchen. Whether you want a light lunch or to share a slice with friends over an aperitivo, it’s always the right time for Spaccanapoli.

Public Areas

The Dusk Bar

With an emphasis on the destination, panoramic views connects you with the world beyond on The Dusk Bar. This superb open-air sky bar provides plenty of space for guests to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, while drinking in the jaw dropping 270-degree, panoramic views from the stern. The Dusk Bar’s blessed combination of idyllic atmosphere and lovely drinks will guarantee to tick your boxes time after time.

The Marquee

The expansive, attractive Marquee houses two of our greatest dining successes. Thanks to Silver Nova’s groundbreaking asymmetrical design, we have been able to create an exciting new al fresco dining venue. The Marquee incorporates both The Grill and Spaccanapoli—two of Silversea’s existing signature venues, which offer guests our trademark ‘hot rocks’ culinary concept as well as what are surely the best pizzas at sea. The Marquee will welcome guests in a relaxed atmosphere, serving casual fare by day and dinner under the stars by night.

Arts Cafe

The Arts Café offers a cultural setting for eating, drinking and socialising, as well as a chance to lose yourself while reading up on all your favourite artists and art. Enjoy healthy snacks and smoothies plus hot and cold drinks, juices, pastries and sandwiches in a light and airy space. Pop in for a late breakfast or afternoon snack, along with real Italian espresso plus a great range of tea.

The Pool Deck

Enjoy a reimagined space where you can relax, refresh and rejuvenate on decks 10 and 11. Ample sunbeds for everyone, more space than ever before and the largest pool in the fleet – which offers exceptional 270˚ unhampered views - are just the beginning. The upper level sun deck is perfectly placed for those who want a quieter space to relax, and still enjoy those incredible, expansive views that are the hallmark of Silver Nova. But it is The Cliff Whirlpool, an infinity edge, glass fronted whirlpool, that really makes The Pool Deck something special.

Destination
Alaska
To experience the real Alaska, come to where the mountains are taller, the rivers mightier and the wildlife more plentiful than any place else on earth. This is cruising Alaska. A rugged, untamed wilderness where the forests go on forever and the summer days never end. Alaska is a pristine wilderness of ice-blue glaciers, snow-capped mountain peaks and huge whales breaking the surface of crystalline waters.
Ports of Call
Seward, Alaska
City Seward

The city of Seward is located in southern coast Alaska in Kenai Peninsula Borough at the top of the Resurrection Bay. The city of Seward was founded back in 1902 as the end of the Alaska Rail Road which was built 1915-1923. The name of Seward was derived by Abraham Lincoln's secretary of state, who arbitrated the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867. The city of Seward suffered from 90% of the waterfront industry due to an earthquake in 1964. Due to this earthquake, six feet of the shoreline dropped along with the harbor and fuel docks.

Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

Seventy-five miles long and covering over 1,350 square miles in area, Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in North America. It is also one of the most impressive, a 500-foot wall of ice rising sheer and jagged from the ocean. You may hear the rumble and see the monumental splash as the glacier breaks off in great ice chunks, known as "calves."

Juneau, Alaska
City Juneau

Alaska's capital can't be reached by road. You fly or sail here to enjoy its greeting of dockside flags and flowers. It is surprisingly urban and cultured for being so remote. Visit the museum for insights into Inuit culture and crafts. Drive up to Mendenhall, the only glacier inside city limits! Or get an aerial view from a helicopter. Fish for silver salmon, or just enjoy some off the grill--then kick back at the Red Dog Saloon.

Skagway, Alaska
City Skagway

Skagway was born during the great Alaska gold rush. Those were the days when Skagway had 80 saloons and was known as "the roughest town on earth." The city's rip-roaring past will come alive when you walk down Broadway, a main street so authentic it is part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park! Special shore excursions explore Skagway's fascinating history. Take a train up to White Pass and follow the old path to gold and glory in the Yukon, or take a scenic flight to view the amazing wonders of Glacier Bay National Park.

Sitka, Alaska
City Sitka

When Alaska belonged to Russia, Sitka was the capital and center for its fur trading empire. Today, Sitka's Russian heritage and magnificent setting make it an enchanting destination. The city features a harbor studded with islands, a backdrop of mountains, and spectacular Mt. Edgecumbe, a volcano often compared to Japan's Mt. Fuji. Sitka displays its past in such attractions as St. Michael's Cathedral with its striking onion-shaped dome, the Russian Blockhouse, and world famous New Archangel Dancers. Visit the Historic Park, with a ruined Indian fort where Tlingit Indians battled Russian settlers in 1804.

Ketchikan, Alaska
City Ketchikan

Ketchikan is the salmon capital of the world. The canneries are busy, and the stream below Creek Street's rustic boardwalk bustles with life. Visit the ancient grove of Totem Bight, the largest collection of authentic totem poles anywhere. Make a flight to nearby Misty Fjords--a breathtaking vista of Alaska's unspoiled wilderness and America's newest national monument, or, try a little salmon fishing.

Inside Passage, Alaska

Protected from the open sea by forested isles, sheltered from the windy mainland by the tallest coastal mountains in the world, this tranquil 1,000-mile waterway winds from British Columbia to Alaska's Gulf. The deep, calm waters of the passage meander between dense pine forests where wild game and soaring eagles abound, with occasional rustic towns along the way.

Vancouver, British Columbia
City Vancouver

In Vancouver, you're never out of sight of towering peaks--or of the sea. It is a prosperous city adorned with flowers lining the streets and lush greenery like Stanley Park. Museums offer fine collections of the dramatic Northwest native arts. Vancouver's Chinatown is the second-largest in the world. The waterfront Gastown district recalls the city's colorful past as a premier Pacific port since the days of the Clipper ships.
