Ports of Call
New York, New York
City New York

This vibrant city is actually a rich mosaic of many "neighborhoods." Feel the excitement of Broadway with its great plays and musicals. Explore the financial district-Wall Street and there''s Soho with its galleries, famed Greenwich Village, Midtown, with its glamorous department stores and soaring architecture, and museums everywhere. It truly is a wonderful town!

Newport, Rhode Island
City Newport

A posh summer resort with a vivid history dating back to colonial times, Newport is home to fabulous summer "cottages" of the turn-of-the-century wealthy. You can tour the "Breakers," a 70-room estate surrounded by magnificent grounds and pounding surf or "Marble House," patterned after Versailles, or "Belcourt Castle," a 62-room mansion resplendent with treasures from 32 countries. Other fascinating historic sites include the beautifully preserved Trinity Church, with its Tiffany windows, and the Touro Synagogue National Historic Site, the oldest synagogue in America. Once home to the America's Cup Races, there are, of course, yachts, and a quaint town to wander.

Provincetown, Massachusetts
City Provincetown

Located on the tip of Cape Cod, "P-town" has a long history as a haven for artists and writers and has a decidedly bohemian flavor. (Playwright Eugene O'Neil founded his legendary Provincetown Playhouse in the early 1900's.) Historically, the Pilgrims are believed to have landed here in the Mayflower in 1620, but this is still a very active fishing village. Whale watching, shopping and just strolling the miles of deserted beaches are only a few of the many things to do in this charming town.

Boston, Massachusetts
City Boston

The history and brick-laid beauty of Boston is easy to enjoy. Just follow the Freedom Trail past the Old North Church, Paul Revere Park, Fanieul Hall, the Commons, Old Ironsides and more landmarks of America's birth. Across the Charles River is Cambridge and Harvard. You can also venture to Marblehead and Salem to the south, or Lexington and Concord to the north. Back in town, you have your choice of clam chowder at the wharf, or great Italian food in the North End.

Bar Harbor, Maine
City Bar Harbor

Drawn by the pines, granite shores, fresh lobster and stunning views from Cadillac Mountain, captains of industry once kept summer homes here. The charming little town, and all the rest, remain. And the rocky boulder beaches on its shoreline are now Acadia National Park, a preserved expanse of vintage Down East scenery.

Saint John, New Brunswick
City Saint John

Canada's oldest incorporated city, Saint John sits at the juncture of the Saint John River and the Bay of Fundy. Here, visitors may witness the world-renowned phenomenon of the reversing falls, created by the Bay of Fundy's 28 1/2-foot tide swell rising above the level of the Saint John River at high tide. Saint John also has Canada's oldest museum and you'll want to visit Market Square with its charming shops and restaurants.

Hamilton, Bermuda
City Hamilton

The neatly maintained vintage shops of Front Street are at your doorstep when you dock at Hamilton. British influences have blended comfortably with casual island style. Explore the town, including the Royal Yacht Club and the Historical Museum, or take a drive around the island to the Botanical Gardens and St. George's, the old capital with its 18th-century Town Hall and cobblestone lanes.

Bridgetown, Barbados
City Bridgetown

The Bajan British accent is very distinctive, reflecting both the Scepter'd Isle and the lovely one they live on. Barbados still has lovely parish churches, great manor houses and a proper Trafalgar Square along with white-sugar beaches and waving fields of cane.

Devils Island, French Guiana
City Devil's Island

The most notorious of the three Salvation Islands, Devil's Island functioned for generations as a French penal colony. Once known as the "Dry Guillotine" because so many prisoners died there, the island today seems haunted by the spirits of former prisoners. Henri Charriere, better known as "Papillon," claimed to be the only prisoner ever to escape the Island.

Parintins, Brazil
City Parintins

Manaus, Brazil
City Manaus

A cultural outpost in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, Manaus was famous for the extravagant lifestyle and architecture of the 19th century rubber barons who made their fortunes here. The renovated opera house stands as an opulent testament to their vast wealth.

Boca da Valeria, Brazil
City Boca da Valeria

Santarem, Brazil
City Santarem

St. Georges, Grenada, West Indies
City St. George's

Called the "Spice Island" for its abundance of cinnamon and nutmeg, still sold at the waterfront market, Grenada is spicy in many other ways. St. George's has historic buildings in brick and mellow stone, and one of the loveliest harbors in the Caribbean. The coastline is full of secluded coves, while the mountainous interior is rich in rainforests and frothy rivers.

Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe
City Pointe-a-Pitre

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
City Saint Thomas

Prior to the arrival of the Europeans, the island of St. Thomas was once inhabited by the Ciboney tribes around 1500 BC along with two other tribes, the Taino or Arawaks and the Caribs. Even today you will be able to find evidence of these late tribes. Also before the European began to form a colony on this island, pirates once roam this island. The most common stories of pirates usually include the names of Blackbeard and Bluebeard who have been known for thieving Spanish ships filled with gold coins and other valuables. In 1917, the Danish flag was a thing of the past and the flag of the United States is a thing of the present.

Due to the beauty of this island, breath taking attractions are everywhere you look. This island is equipped with historical sites such as the Charlotte Amalie to marine parks and beautiful botanical gardens throughout the island. During your visit make sure you indulge in the Nightlife full of calypso music for your listening pleasure as well as great restaurants for your dining pleasure and semi-block parties for your dancing delight.

Miami, Florida
City Miami

Discover the cosmopolitan beauty of Miami along Florida's fabled Gold Coast. Stroll through carefully preserved Art Deco neighborhoods and witness the trendy lifestyle that is South Beach. Enjoy open-air shopping in the Bayside Marketplace and shop for a bite to eat in Coconut Grove, with its harborside cafes and quaint, artistic settings.
