Ports of Call
Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
City Fort Lauderdale

Originally a fort built by the U.S. Army in 1838 during the Second Seminole War, Fort Lauderdale welcomes visitors with broad, palm-fringed beaches and an easy pace of life. Stroll along fashionable Las Olas Boulevard with its stylish shops or enjoy a sightseeing cruise through the city''s canals, boasting more waterways than Venice. Or, venture out and explore the cosmopolitan city of Palm Beach, or the wildlife sanctuary of the Everglades.

Port Antonio, Jamaica
City Port Antonio

Lush botanical gardens, waterfalls and exotic flora trimming magnificent sand and seascapes are only a part of Port Antonio's sensuous offerings. Located on Jamaica's northeast coast, this resort area was the original "holiday capital" of the island attracting Bette Davis, Ginger Rogers and Errol Flynn, with many elegant villas still catering to those of fame and fortune today. Rafting on Jamaica's Rio Grande, climbing Somerset Falls and swimming or snorkeling at the beautifully romantic Blue Lagoon are some of the highlights of a visit to Port Antonio.

Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands

Cayman Brac is the eastern of the two Cayman Islands, located northwest of Jamaica in the Caribbean Sea. This island is about 80 miles northeast of Grand Cayman, 70 miles south of Cuba and 400 miles south of Miami. The islands are low-lying and coral and limestone based. The backbone of the economy is tourism and international banking.

In 1503, these three islands were discovered by Columbus and named Las Tortugas, because the only inhabitants were turtles. It wasn't until 1530 when it was given the Caribe name for crocodile, Caymanas. Sir Francis Drake visited these islands in 1568, but they did not come under British rule until 1670. The Caymans remained a dependency of Jamaica until 1959 when they became a self-governing member of the Federation of the West Indies. In 1962 they became a British dependency again. The Caymanian inhabitants are descendants of the English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh seamen who settled on the islands and later intermarried with Jamaican immigrants.
