In a nutshell... we're all about fun vacations at sea and ashore! A Carnival cruise features day and nighttime entertainment like stage shows, musical performances, deck parties, casinos and more. (Like what? Like waterslides!) We invite our guests to come as they are, and we make everyone feel right at home with comfy staterooms, attentive service, casual and elegant dining, plus a variety of bars and gathering places indoors and out. Guests enjoy this unique experience against the backdrop of some of the world's most beautiful seaports.
Our 26 ships operate 3- to 24-day voyages, departing from every coast in the U.S., as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and Barbados. While we're best known for Caribbean cruises, we sail to other exotic and amazing destinations like Mexico, Alaska, The Bahamas, Europe, Hawaii and the Far East. Additionally, Carnival Cruise Line Australia now has three ships, and offers cruises from Sydney and Melbourne to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Singapore.

Catching a great sunrise isn't just for early-risers. Carnival Sunrise, now sailing, has enough warm fun for everybody to bask in. And when we say 'everybody'... well, here's a ship that has so much vacation awesomeness to share with the world that it will have three homeports: Norfolk, Ft. Lauderdale and NYC, each featuring sailings with their own unique destinations.
So, everybody - here's a little of what you can expect from Carnival Sunrise. If you're ready for some amazing things to do let's start with the musical stage-show stylings of Playlist Productions. Also up on stage could be... you, actually, with Hasbro, The Game Show. Kids get to have a blast with others their age at one of three youth spaces, while adults will find Piano Bar 88 a melodious place to grab a drink in the evening. And who doesn't love a good waterslide? Carnival WaterWorks is the ship's designated splash zone.
RedFrog Pub could be called Carnival Sunrise's center of good cheer and great beers! For delicious bites served with that same casual, can-do-fun attitude, look to Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse. Or for something a little more refined, swing by Bonsai Sushi. Fancying things up a little are the Italian classics of Cucina del Capitano, while another notch up you'll find Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse.

Sky Deck
This vibrant city is actually a rich mosaic of many "neighborhoods." Feel the excitement of Broadway with its great plays and musicals. Explore the financial district-Wall Street and there''s Soho with its galleries, famed Greenwich Village, Midtown, with its glamorous department stores and soaring architecture, and museums everywhere. It truly is a wonderful town!
But truth be told, this isn't a tourist town per se, compared to other destinations in the Caribbean Sea . Nevertheless, there are things to see and do while you are in port.
Spend an unforgettable day cruising the Panama Canal, a fifty-one-mile waterway through the rainforest that is one of the world's engineering masterpieces. The ship glides down the canal with inches to spare, through locks that raise and lower it like a toy. Along the way it crosses enormous Gatun Lake, and the amazing Gaillard Cut, blasted out of a solid mountainside.
Charming Cartagena is one of the most fascinating towns in South America. The old city, almost completely surrounded by lagoons, bays and the Caribbean Sea, is still girded by its 17th-century fortifications. Once these guarded the gold and treasures of the New World, bound for Spain; now they shelter ornate churches and convents, the dramatic Palace of the Inquisition, and other historic gems.
Survey the neatly shuttered shops for bargains, or the twisted rock formations known as "Hell." But there's nothing hellish about the white-sand heaven of Seven Mile Beach. Sample the rum distilled here and be sure to visit the world's only sea turtle farm.
Originally a fort built by the U.S. Army in 1838 during the Second Seminole War, Fort Lauderdale welcomes visitors with broad, palm-fringed beaches and an easy pace of life. Stroll along fashionable Las Olas Boulevard with its stylish shops or enjoy a sightseeing cruise through the city''s canals, boasting more waterways than Venice. Or, venture out and explore the cosmopolitan city of Palm Beach, or the wildlife sanctuary of the Everglades.
