Seabourn Cruise Line
General

At Seabourn, we are passionate about travel. We believe that traveling for pleasure has a redemptive power that enriches people''s lives. And we believe that people should travel well.

Cruising on a Seabourn ship is unlike any other form of travel. The experience is luxurious, yet relaxed -- elegant, yet casual -- sumptuous, yet understated. Our intimate ships visit the most desirable destinations worldwide, sailing to the heart of landmark cities, as well as to hidden gems where larger vessels cannot follow.

Our ships attract interesting people, who seek to share experiences beyond the expected in places beyond the ordinary. Our acclaimed staff offers a unique style of heartfelt hospitality that is sincere, thoughtful and personal.

Seabourn pioneered small-ship, ultra luxury cruising, and continues to represent the pinnacle of that unique style of travel. Its fleet of intimate, all-suite ships, carrying between 458 and 600 guests each, sail to the world''s most desirable destinations at their peak seasons. On board, guests are served by an award-wining crew. Seabourn''s ships attract accomplished people who enjoy traveling well, and sharing fun and adventures with other interesting people. A great many of them have found the Seabourn cruise experience to be their preferred method of travel, and return regularly to sail with us again and again. We would welcome the opportunity to explore whether that might be true for you.

In 2009, Seabourn again raised the bar with the debut of Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as "a game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment." Although larger than the original Seabourn sisters, Seabourn Odyssey carries just 458 guests and offers a wealth of amenities made possible by the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruise industry, including the largest spa on any luxury ship and generous private verandas on 90 percent of her suites. Seabourn Odyssey has since been joined by two identical sisters, Seabourn Sojourn in 2010 and Seabourn Quest in 2011. Our first 600 passenger ship, Seabourn Encore, was delivered in 2016 and a second 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Ovation, is scheduled to be delivered Spring 2018.

Our expanded fleet allows us to offer the award-winning Seabourn experience to more travelers, in more cruising regions than ever before. No matter where in our wide world you want to travel, we offer you the opportunity to see it all in perfect elegance and ease -- to travel well -- aboard the best small ships in the world.

We would be honored to have you travel with us on your next journey.

Ship
Seabourn Ovation
Overview

Re-Defining Ultra-Luxury Cruising...Again. As Seabourn celebrates 30 years of enriching and enhancing ultra-luxury cruising, we're proud to introduce the next stage of our evolution. We welcome Seabourn Ovation, sister ship to the already renowned Seabourn Encore. Her arrival has crowned a fleet that is already the newest, most modern and most acclaimed at sea and will deliver a wealth of new concepts, a fresh design vision and a host of illuminating ideas to delight the world's most discerning travelers. As with Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation, Seabourn enlisted the participation of master designer Adam D. Tihany. Recognized as one of the preeminent designers in the world, Tihany specializes in developing elegantly individual spaces for the most highly rated restaurants, hotels, resorts and spas in the hospitality industry. He is also renowned for his unique ability to realize and embody the particular personalities of his clients and the preferences of their clientele in his designs.

Dining

Some of life's most cherished moments occur around the table, and every meal with Seabourn is another opportunity to celebrate. Seabourn's award-winning cuisine starts with the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavors, prepared a la minute by our skilled chefs and served with pride.

The Restaurant

Before Seabourn, open-seating dining on a cruise ship was unheard of. Come when you like, with whom you please, and be seated as you wish. The room is beautiful, the cuisine is exquisite, and the service is simultaneously flawless, friendly and fun.

The Grill by Thomas Keller

Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

Sushi

Seabourn researched the best ingredients and developed a menu that is a perfect blend of authenticity to maintain the root of the cuisine, and a twist of Seabourn's culinary expertise. The sushi concept is a modern line that is steeped in tradition using the finest ingredients.

Hamachi, tuna, shrimp and other fresh fish products will be shipped from Japan to Sushi and served a la carte for dinner. The menu features caviar and small plates, along with a selection of maki rolls, sushi and sashimi, and salads. In addition, the restaurant will feature three varieties of Bento boxes for lunch: meat, seafood and vegetarian.

The Colonnade
The Colonnade is a more casual alternative with indoor/outdoor seating, sumptuous buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch. The Colonnade serves regionally-themed, bistro-style dinners with table service nightly.

The Patio

The Patio offers casual poolside dining featuring grilled specialties, salads and sides for lunch and dinner, and freshly baked pizzas throughout the afternoon. Lunches and dinners are offered at the Sky Grill, serving grilled specialties and simple sides.

Entertainment & Nightlife

Movies Under the Stars

Watch the stars, both on the big screen and twinkling overhead, as you snuggle up for a Hollywood classic or a big hit on the pool deck.

Evening Under the Stars

Dancing anywhere is fun, but dancing outdoors under the stars is something entirely different.

Observation Bar

A stunning round lounge with a square bar and panoramic views. Early Risers' Coffee and Tea is served here every morning, and piano music makes it a great choice for drinks and conversation before and after dinner.

Sky Bar

An alfresco oasis for drinks and socializing overlooking the Pool Patio. With a skilled, friendly bartender preparing everything from fresh fruit smoothies to elaborate mixologist masterpieces, its stools and tables are occupied from morning until dinnertime with guests who enjoy good company, open air and a breathtaking view of the horizon.

The Patio Bar

A favorite place for an early dinner is the Patio Grill. Open even if it is a bit chilly outside, crew members carefully wrap passengers in blankets, if needed.

Grand Salon

The ship's main showroom can accommodate all guests, though it seldom does because of the variety available. Lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and other gatherings are held here in the daytime. In the evenings, live music for dancing before dinner gives way to vocal production shows, cabaret performances, comedy, and classical recitals, as well as more dancing later.

Casino

You will find the casino located on deck 5.

The Club

In The Club, bring your dancing shoes and show off your moves or watch others trip the light fantastic to the live band. The Club is located on deck 5.

Activities

Helping you create the perfect day is something we take to heart at Seabourn. It's why our lounges and decks are open and inviting, the ambiance relaxed and the variety of activities offered plentiful. You'll find plenty of ways to create the perfect day, over and over again, and all the time to enjoy it. After all, this is your journey, and you can make it anything you want it to be.

Seabourn Conversations

The art of conversation has always been central to the Seabourn experience. Our voyages attract interesting, interested people -people who enjoy talking together, sharing their interests, their adventures and discoveries, and their life stories with longtime and newfound friends. Their enthusiasms and curiosity are far-ranging, and these are what spark their desire to travel the world.

Shopping with the Chef

Shopping with the Chef - at local food markets. Shop a bustling Sicilian market, gather spices in Istanbul or explore the local wines of Tuscany and Provence. Wherever you are in the world, you'll enjoy an insider's look at unique regional markets with an expert Seabourn chef as your guide.

Seabourn Square

Seabourn's innovative "living room" replaces the conventional reception lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with comfortable sofas, easy chairs and cocktail tables.

The Spa at Seabourn & Salon

The award-winning Spa at Seabourn center anywhere in the world we sail. Enjoy a thermal wrap surrounded by Antarctic icebergs, or exercise on a Kinesis Wall with views of Santorini's cliffs.

Card Rooms

Many veteran cruisers specifically choose cruises that provide at least a few days at sea. Seabourn Ovation will be a great choice for the sea-loving cruiser who craves that languorous feeling of lazy leisure. There will be loads of on board activities during those days, including a great game of bridge. Odyssey has a beautifully designed card room on Deck 7, forward of Seabourn Square.

Fitness Center

Our Fitness Center features high performance Technogym equipment for cardio and strength training. We also offer a series of complimentary classes including yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. Or, if personal attention is preferred, our personal trainers will design a nutrition and exercise plan that will help you achieve results. Based on your body's particular needs, this personalized session will expose you to the wellness program that works best with your body.

Aboard Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest you may try the Kinesis System. Using a tri-dimensional pulley system, our personal trainers will guide you through a series of exercises designed to improve balance, flexibility and strength.

The Collection

Three duty-free shops are arrayed along the starboard side of the walkway.

The Seabourn Shop features shield-emblazoned logo wear. The Boutique offers fashions, cosmetics, scents and designers' luxury goods. The Collection is a curated selection of fine watches and jewelry including a private showroom for diamonds and other gemstones.

The Retreat

A tranquil setting housed in a distinctive flower-shaped canopy that shields guests from sun and wind, The Retreat is ringed with 15 private cabanas designed as individual luxury living rooms that each feature a large HD flat screen television and a refrigerator stocked with a personalized selection of beverages.

The Retreat is located around a central whirlpool with step-up access to water maintained at an inviting temperature. Up to 28 guests can stretch out on comfortable sun loungers; pull up a bar stool or take a table seat for champagne and cocktails custom created by Seabourn mixologists; or enjoy a selection of bites from a healthy spa menu. A selection of amenities include fresh fruit baskets, premium sun lotions, Evian mist spray, plush towels and personalized bathrobes, while a dedicated Retreat Concierge will be available to satisfy guest requests.

Destination
India
Ports of Call
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
City Dubai

Despite the primeval desert that surrounds it, spirited Dubai has spent its oil income on modern architecture based on soaring Islamic spires. Explore the souk bazaars for gold and silks, Persian and Afghani rugs and more. And be sure to visit the Juneira Mosque.

Khor Al Fakkan, United Arab Emirates

Muscat, Oman
City Muscat

The town has changed in recent times, but a glimpse of Muscat's past shows in the old houses lining the Mutrah corniche above the harbor, and in the traditional market souks. See the Sultan's Palace, the National Museum and perhaps indulge in Amonage or Ubar perfumes produced here-the world's most expensive.

Mumbai (Bombay), India
City Mumbai

Few cities evoke such a wealth of sensations as Bombay. Entering the city under the Gateway of India, which commemorates the visit of King George and Queen Mary in 1911, the sounds and aromas are exotic and the level of activity from the bazaars to the street vendors is non-stop. Remnants of British rule along oceanfront Marine Drive stand alongside the thought-provoking former home of Mahatma Gandhi, and the cave temple at Elephanta with its second-century Hindu gods. Bombay also serves as the gateway for land tours to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, and Delhi, the historical center of India.

Cochin, India
City Cochin

The lush Kerala region is the proverbial land of incense and myrrh, from which the world has sought its exotic spices since ancient times. The aromas of ginger, cloves, cardamom, cumin and other key ingredients of Indian curries fill the air. Not far from Mattancheri Palace, with its mythological murals, is a Jewish colony dating back to 1000 A.D. Don't miss the 16th century synagogue with hand-painted floor tiles from China. A visit to the St. Francis church reveals the tomb of the Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama. Guests may also tour the "Mattancheri" or Dutch Palace, which houses some of India's finest Hindu frescoes and ceremonial costumes.

Chennai (Madras), India
City Chennai

This thriving port on the Bay of Bengal provides the perfect introduction to the wonders of southern India. Magnificent Dravidian temples compete with monuments from the British colonial past, including the Chepauk Palace and the High Court buildings. Chennai is also a thriving university and cultural center, as well as a leader in Indian film-making.

Karaikal, India

Trincomalee, Sri Lanka

Sabang, Indonesia

Singapore, Singapore
City Sinagapore

One of Asia's great success stories, this island republic has merged diverse cultures into a dynamic and thriving nation. Clean, modern and full of green gardens, its neighborhoods reflect the Chinese, Malay, Indian, Arab and European backgrounds of its past. After sampling the legendary shopping, retire to Raffles Hotel's famous bar and toast Maugham, Kipling and Noel Coward with a Singapore Sling.
