Seabourn Cruise Line
General

At Seabourn, we are passionate about travel. We believe that traveling for pleasure has a redemptive power that enriches people''s lives. And we believe that people should travel well.

Cruising on a Seabourn ship is unlike any other form of travel. The experience is luxurious, yet relaxed -- elegant, yet casual -- sumptuous, yet understated. Our intimate ships visit the most desirable destinations worldwide, sailing to the heart of landmark cities, as well as to hidden gems where larger vessels cannot follow.

Our ships attract interesting people, who seek to share experiences beyond the expected in places beyond the ordinary. Our acclaimed staff offers a unique style of heartfelt hospitality that is sincere, thoughtful and personal.

Seabourn pioneered small-ship, ultra luxury cruising, and continues to represent the pinnacle of that unique style of travel. Its fleet of intimate, all-suite ships, carrying between 458 and 600 guests each, sail to the world''s most desirable destinations at their peak seasons. On board, guests are served by an award-wining crew. Seabourn''s ships attract accomplished people who enjoy traveling well, and sharing fun and adventures with other interesting people. A great many of them have found the Seabourn cruise experience to be their preferred method of travel, and return regularly to sail with us again and again. We would welcome the opportunity to explore whether that might be true for you.

In 2009, Seabourn again raised the bar with the debut of Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as "a game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment." Although larger than the original Seabourn sisters, Seabourn Odyssey carries just 458 guests and offers a wealth of amenities made possible by the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruise industry, including the largest spa on any luxury ship and generous private verandas on 90 percent of her suites. Seabourn Odyssey has since been joined by two identical sisters, Seabourn Sojourn in 2010 and Seabourn Quest in 2011. Our first 600 passenger ship, Seabourn Encore, was delivered in 2016 and a second 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Ovation, is scheduled to be delivered Spring 2018.

Our expanded fleet allows us to offer the award-winning Seabourn experience to more travelers, in more cruising regions than ever before. No matter where in our wide world you want to travel, we offer you the opportunity to see it all in perfect elegance and ease -- to travel well -- aboard the best small ships in the world.

We would be honored to have you travel with us on your next journey.

Ship
Seabourn Encore
Overview

Seabourn has officially debuted Seabourn Encore. Our new ship is as strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has ever debuted. It will crown a fleet that is already the newest, most modern and most acclaimed in the ultra-luxury segment. Modeled on the award-winning trio of ships introduced with Seabourn Odyssey in 2009, Seabourn Encore represents another welcome stage in the evolution of small-ship cruising, which Seabourn pioneered and has consistently expanded and enriched. An additional sister-ship, Seabourn Ovation, is scheduled for delivery in 2018. Both sisters will deliver a wealth of new concepts, a fresh vision and a host of illuminating ideas to delight the world's most discerning travelers.

To further advance its mission with Seabourn Encore, Seabourn enlisted the participation of master designer Adam D. Tihany. Although the architecture of Seabourn Encore is not radically different from Seabourn's other three ships, Tihany's vision is present throughout the ship. There is a new softness and a curvaceous elegance to his designs that reflect a noticeably bespoke aesthetic. The vessel exudes ultra-luxury with design elements often found in private yachts. Nautical visual elements are employed with an exceptional intelligence and sophistication. And, true to his vision, Tihany has enriched the entire ship with an impressive array of unexpected surprises and subtle transformations for guests to continually discover and delight in --- but those, as he so wisely says, are not meant to be described, but rather to be discovered.

Grand Salon
Lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and other gatherings are held here in the daytime. In the evenings, live music for dancing before dinner gives way to vocal production shows, cabaret performances, comedy, and classical recitals, as well as more dancing later.

Evening Under the Stars
Dancing anywhere is fun, but dancing outdoors under the stars is something entirely different.

Sky Bar
An alfresco oasis for drinks and socializing overlooking the Pool Patio. With a skilled, friendly bartender preparing everything from fresh fruit smoothies to elaborate mixologist masterpieces, its stools and tables are occupied from morning until dinnertime with guests who enjoy good company, open air and a breathtaking view of the horizon.

The Patio Bar
A favorite place for an early dinner is the Patio Grill. Open even if it is a bit chilly outside, crew members carefully wrap passengers in blankets, if needed.

Dining

The Grill by Thomas Keller
Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

Sushi
Seabourn Encore features for the first time ever a dedicated sushi restaurant on board a Seabourn ship.

Seabourn researched the best ingredients and developed a menu that is a perfect blend of authenticity to maintain the root of the cuisine, and a twist of Seabourn's culinary expertise. The sushi concept is a modern line that is steeped in tradition using the finest ingredients.

Hamachi, tuna, shrimp and other fresh fish products will be shipped from Japan to Sushi and served a la carte for dinner. The menu features caviar and small plates, along with a selection of maki rolls, sushi and sashimi, and salads. In addition, the restaurant will feature three varieties of Bento boxes for lunch: meat, seafood and vegetarian.

Sushi is available on board Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation. Currently there are no plans to open Sushi on the existing fleet of Odyssey-class ships.

The Restaurant
Before Seabourn, open-seating dining on a cruise ship was unheard of. Come when you like, with whom you please, and be seated as you wish. The room is beautiful, the cuisine is exquisite, and the service is simultaneously flawless, friendly and fun.

The Colonnade
The Colonnade is a more casual alternative with indoor/outdoor seating, sumptuous buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch. The Colonnade serves regionally-themed, bistro-style dinners with table service nightly.

The Patio
The Patio offers casual poolside dining featuring grilled specialties, salads and sides for lunch and dinner, and freshly baked pizzas throughout the afternoon. Lunches and dinners are offered at the Sky Grill, serving grilled specialties and simple sides.

Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil
Seabourn is pleased to announce in partnership with The Onboard Spa by Steiner, we have created a fleet-wide mindful living program offering guests a holistic spa and wellness experience that integrates physical, social, environmental and spiritual well-being. The new Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil program will be the first-ever of its kind at sea.

The new program will be led by the newly established position, The Wellness Guide. The Guide, will be a certified yoga and meditation practitioner who will inspire and educate all guests through various complimentary classes and gatherings throughout the voyage. Guests who choose to participate in this new program will have a cruise experience that is further enhanced by a holistic mind and body perspective.

Seabourn Square
Seabourn's innovative "living room" replaces the conventional reception lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with comfortable sofas, easy chairs and cocktail tables.

Card Rooms
Many veteran cruisers specifically choose cruises that provide at least a few days at sea. Seabourn Encore will be a great choice for the sea-loving cruiser who craves that languorous feeling of lazy leisure. There will be loads of on board activities during those days, including a great game of bridge. Odyssey has a beautifully designed card room on Deck 7, forward of Seabourn Square.

Ports of Call
Benoa (Bali), Indonesia
City Benoa

Komodo Island, Indonesia
City Komodo

A rare discovery awaits the traveler who ventures onto this remote island of Komodo. Walking through the dense vegetation, hearing and seeing a variety of bird and animal life, you may feel you've landed in another epoch. Indeed, the last vestiges of long-gone dinosaurs survive here, in the form of the legendary, giant lizards called Komodo Dragons.

CELUKAN BAWANG, INDONESIA

Probolinggo, Indonesia

Surabaya, Java, Indonesia
City Surbaya

One of the last traditional Indonesian cities that evokes old colonial Asia, Surabaya remains delightfully untouristed and little changed from the thirties. You'll discover old neighborhoods of typical Dutch colonial homes, while in Islamic enclaves throughout the city, men in fez-like hats gather around mosques with minarets. Visit the Surabaya Zoo exhibiting a family of Komodo dragons. Or travel across the narrow straits from Java to the island of Madura and a bygone way of life, where a centuries-old style of bull racing still continues to be used as a method of breeding selection for the island's important cattle industry.

Semarang, Java, Indonesia
City Semarang

From Semarang, travel through the lush jungles of Java to the astounding temples of Borobudur, the largest Buddhist monument on earth built in the 8th century. Here view a complex of dramatic carved towers that were forgotten for almost 800 years! Topped by graceful stupas, the winding pathways display carved panels depicting the life of Buddha.

Singapore, Singapore
City Sinagapore

One of Asia's great success stories, this island republic has merged diverse cultures into a dynamic and thriving nation. Clean, modern and full of green gardens, its neighborhoods reflect the Chinese, Malay, Indian, Arab and European backgrounds of its past. After sampling the legendary shopping, retire to Raffles Hotel's famous bar and toast Maugham, Kipling and Noel Coward with a Singapore Sling.

Phuket, Thailand
City Phuket

Set like a jewel in the Andaman Sea, Thailand's largest island has great expanses of sandy beaches that lure sun-seekers to their shores, and a unique culture combining influences from China and Portugal. Visit the fabled monastery of Wat Chalong, the Orchard Garden and the Thai Village, where examples of the country's culture are presented in a tranquil lakeside setting.

Colombo, Sri Lanka
City Colombo

Formerly known as Ceylon, Sri Lanka means "Resplendent Land," an apt description for this beautiful island. Sri Lanka lies fifty-five miles north of the equator, just off the southern tip of India. With its unique beauty, warm climate and near-perfect beaches, Sri Lanka is one of Asia's most adored destinations. Since the sixteenth century, the Portuguese, Dutch and British have all left their architectural and cultural marks in Sri Lanka's capital of Colombo. Yet despite its colonial architecture, Sri Lanka has always remained Oriental in spirit, with colorful bazaars, dancing elephants, graceful women in saris, and many Buddhist shrines and temples.

Mangalore, India
City Mangalore

Mumbai (Bombay), India
City Mumbai

Few cities evoke such a wealth of sensations as Bombay. Entering the city under the Gateway of India, which commemorates the visit of King George and Queen Mary in 1911, the sounds and aromas are exotic and the level of activity from the bazaars to the street vendors is non-stop. Remnants of British rule along oceanfront Marine Drive stand alongside the thought-provoking former home of Mahatma Gandhi, and the cave temple at Elephanta with its second-century Hindu gods. Bombay also serves as the gateway for land tours to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, and Delhi, the historical center of India.

Muscat, Oman
City Muscat

The town has changed in recent times, but a glimpse of Muscat's past shows in the old houses lining the Mutrah corniche above the harbor, and in the traditional market souks. See the Sultan's Palace, the National Museum and perhaps indulge in Amonage or Ubar perfumes produced here-the world's most expensive.

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
City Abu Dhabi

Before the 1960s, Abu Dhabi was only a bleak fishing and pearling village. Now everything is modern, sleek and shiny and makes up 85% of the total area of the UAE. It has become the richest and most politically important of the UAE's seven emirates. It is a big city for doing business and considered safe and secure for foreigners as long as you avoid demonstrations and political gatherings. It has been accused of being a soulless place, but to be honest it does have its attractions. Some key attractions are the Al-Hosn Palace used by the Cultural Foundation, the beautiful Capital Garden of the Corniche, and the Women's Craft Centre where you will be able to shop for some very detailed souvenirs.

Sir Bani Yas Island, United Arab Emirates

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
City Dubai

Despite the primeval desert that surrounds it, spirited Dubai has spent its oil income on modern architecture based on soaring Islamic spires. Explore the souk bazaars for gold and silks, Persian and Afghani rugs and more. And be sure to visit the Juneira Mosque.
