WE''LL CHANGE THE WAY YOU SEE THE WORLD.

Once upon a time, and not so very long ago, an ocean liner was the only way to see the world. Well, here at Azamara Club Cruises®, we believe it still is.

In the span of one vacation, you can journey to multiple destinations with no packing or unpacking...or leaving items behind in the process. You don''t have to worry about missing a connecting flight or extra transportation costs, let alone finding a parking spot. (And on Azamara''s smaller-sized ships, we can drop you off at the doorsteps of great cities like Nice, Seville, and Hong Kong.)

With the added convenience of "a floating hotel" that follows you all over the world, your accommodation costs are already covered. So you can spend more time enjoying your vacation, and a lot less time -and money- on figuring out where you are going to stay. When you go cruising, not only do you have a variety of restaurants to choose from, but your meals are also included along the way (and on Azamara ships, your drinks are, too).

And while planes, trains, and automobiles offer less than spacious seating and practically nothing to entertain you, on a cruise you''ll be able to unwind in between ports with a wide choice of complimentary activities, nightly shows, and enrichment programs, or enjoy a little "me time" with spa treatments and personal training sessions. Finally, at the end of the day, you can fall asleep in a wonderfully comfortable stateroom with all the amenities of a boutique hotel, complete with 24-hour room service, and then wake up in a new town or country...or even continent.

So really, when you think about it, the question shouldn''t be, "Why cruise?" but "Why not?"

Ship
Azamara Journey
Overview

Authentic Service Every Step of the Way

A luxurious boutique hotel at sea, the Azamara Journey is a mid-sized ship with a deck plan that's intimate but never crowded, and offers everything modern voyagers are looking for - plus some unexpected extras.

Re-imagined staterooms include modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. Plus the ship features a large number of staterooms and suites with verandas, perfect for starting your day with fresh sea air and stunning views.

Across the fleet, our authentic service goes beyond the expectations of even the most well-traveled cruisers. Friendly and approachable, our staff are attentive, and happy to offer everything from poolside service to recommendations for your on-shore exploration. After all, we love sailing the world just as much as you do!

Add to all of that world-class dining options, spa experiences to relax and refresh, and all-new entertainment offerings, you've got an onboard experience that's matched only by the immersive cultural encounters we've got in store on shore.

Spa and Fitness

The Pool

While spending daytime sun-drenched and relaxed by the pool, don't think of missing Azamara's famous White Night party held at least once on every cruise (weather permitting). Colorful decor and linen-draped tables, a fabulous buffet feast, and boutique wines on the house make this an event like no other. Not to forget the fun and fast-paced show our entertainment team puts on.

Fitness Center

Keep up your fitness routine or embark on a new one in our onboard Fitness Center. Take part in yoga at sunset or toning Pilates; our onboard wellness consultant is there to assist you every step.

The Sanctum Spa

Let our Spa transport you to a whole new world with treatments inspired by rituals from exotic cultures. You'll also find a hair salon, the Sanctum Terrace with a Thalassotherapy pool, and an assortment of the finest spa products. The Sanctum Spa also includes a nail bar and pedicure area, and dedicated stations for barber services, teeth whitening, and hair services, along with the Medi-spa and acupuncture clinic.

Onboard

Refurbished in late 2012 and early 2013, the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest feature sparkling accommodations, 24-hour room service, a variety of dining experiences and bars, a full-service spa, fitness center and pool. Guests also enjoy evening entertainment in the Casino, Cabaret Lounge and Mosaic Night. Complimentary daytime classes include yoga, nutrition and fitness instruction, travel seminars, cooking demonstrations and other activities tailored to specific regions. Three onboard shops offer everything from sundries and logo wear to exquisite jewelry and one-of-a-kind gifts.

Azamara Club Cruises' two boutique-style ships carry just under 700 guests, with a one-to-two staff to guest ratio. And you'll love the fact that 93% of the staterooms offer ocean views and 68% have a private veranda.

Azamara Club Cruises staff and crew
Destination-rich travel experiences bring guests onboard, but Azamara's outgoing staff and crew bring them back. Service is prompt and attentive, and the staff and crew quickly learn guests' tastes and preferences. The onboard atmosphere is genuinely friendly, with senior officers and crew mingling easily with guests. Azamara's club-like community appeals to couples, singles and grown families.

Cabaret Lounge

Enjoy live performances of professional full-stage musical revues, classical soloists, bands and other entertainment in our Cabaret Lounge featuring a full bar. Choices change daily and include fresh sushi, stir-frys and pastas, salads, an assortment of entrees and sides, a carving station and sumptuous desserts.

The Patio and Swirl & Top

While a casual "pool grill" during the day, in the evening this venue will be completely transformed into a sit-down al fresco dining experience. Nice tablecloths and candles will set the mood while a reimagined menu will be served by our Pool Grill wait staff. In addition, a self-serve frozen yogurt station - Swirl & Top - can conclude your meal with a variety of flavors and your choice of toppings.

Discoveries Restaurant

With open seating and delicious nightly selections, our main restaurant is not to be missed. You'll find all your classic dinner favorites, very likely with a different twist, like gulf shrimp with cognac and garlic or a filet mignon with black truffle sauce. What's more, open seating provides you the opportunity to dine at your leisure.

Nights in Private Places

Welcome to Dreamland

Nights in Private Places is an unforgettable evening of luxurious pampering for two with your every need attended to by a personal butler. You'll start the night by stepping into your own private world to enjoy champagne and canapes before dining on a sumptuous buffet complete with fresh seafood and meats cooked on a sizzling hot stone grill.

After a romantic dinner, raise a glass to each other in the The Sanctum Terrace and then wrap yourselves in plush Frette robes. As night falls, flickering candles add to the romance of your hideaway. And when you're ready for sleep, we'll turn down your outdoor bed (or close a roof panel and curtains if you prefer) so you can spend an incredible night under the stars.

"Sleeping under the stars was one of the best evenings in our life, and an experience that we will never forget." - Bill & Bibi

By reservation onboard only. $395 per couple.

City Cape Town

One of the world's most scenic harbors, the "Mother City" has welcomed sailors since Portuguese navigators first rounded the Cape of Good Hope in the 15th century. Take a cable car ride to the summit of massive, flat-topped Table Mountain, the city's dominating landmark, for a panoramic view of the Cape from 3,300 feet. At nearby Stellenbosch, the university town famous for its Cape Dutch architecture, sip crisp local vintages at one of the well-known wine estates.

Port Elizabeth South Africa
City Port Elizabeth

Along the eastern coast of Africa, you will find the most beautiful city known to man-kind. This dominating tourist attraction stands alone in superiority among the hearts of its past visitors. This friendly city is known for many of its exceptional historical architecture and the allurement of its sites. Within sight of the Algoa Bay lies Port Elizabeth, engulfed in captivating serene country sides.

Dating back to 1820, Port Elizabeth became the country's first permanent British resident. A crew of 4,000 British Settlers that arrived by sea found this city. Port Elizabeth acquired her name from the late wife Elizabeth of the Acting Governor of Cape Colony, Sir Rufane Donkin. This Gateway city to the Eastern Cape is composed of a population over one million, which appoints this city as the fifth largest by population and second largest by area. Port Elizabeth plays an imperative role in the economical growth and well-being of South Africa. This role includes the contribution of the automobile industry for transportation and things such as keeping airports well equipped, port and harbor integrating South Africa with international and national destinations.

Such a beautiful sight to see contains alluring sites such as The Oceanarium, which is known for the notorious Dolphin and seal spectacle, the dolphin research centre, underwater observation area in the aquarium, two larger tanks of sharks and stingrays, and 40 different species of bony fish. The ideal weather in this city provides the perfect atmosphere for water sports. Within this utopian city lie extraordinary findings so we won't dare expose all of its possessions.

City East London

Between the Buffalo River and the Nahoon River lies East London with the Gonubie River flowing directly around it. East London is South Africa's only river port and is also well known for being the Gateway to The Wild Coast and The Sunshine Coast. This beautiful city is situated in a serene surrounding with subtropical vegetation and sensational coastline that adds to the utmost allurement of the city. East London's economic growth is based around its key industries, which are textiles, motor assembly, and electronics just to name a few. The city's harbour can be viewed from its two great bridges. The overall atmosphere in East London is usually sunny and ideal. During the winter months it is usually mild, considering the presence of snow in the lower-lying areas, on the Cape and Natal on the mountain ranges. The winter climate my experience hasty cold spells conditions.

This wonderful city is also well known for the 200,000 year old Nahoon Fossil footprint found on the Nahoon beach in Bats Cave. This discovery is the oldest homo-sapiens footprint known to science. Another major attraction would be The German Settler's Museum, which commemorates the arrival of more than 2,000 German women, men, and children in 1858/9. These 2,000 odd people were the fertilizer that expanded the settlement to what it is today.

During your visit feel free to take part in a diving excursion of the estimated 150 ships that have been wrecked since 1847. These ships lie just past the East London Coast about five kilometer radius of the Buffalo Harbour. The only wrecked ship in sight would be the "Orient" that is visible during low tide from the Orient Beach. If you're interested in this under sea adventure, please inquire at the Pollock's Sports Shop. Along with diving, East London also offers sports facilities for golf; rugby, hockey, and tennis just to name a few. This city also accommodates a couple annual events directly in East London.
