Bridgetown, Barbados

The Bajan British accent is very distinctive, reflecting both the Scepter'd Isle and the lovely one they live on. Barbados still has lovely parish churches, great manor houses and a proper Trafalgar Square along with white-sugar beaches and waving fields of cane.

Gustavia, St. Barts

The tiny island of St. Barts is picture-perfect. So much so that it has become a haunt for the very rich who come for the privacy, gorgeous beaches and exquisite French cuisine. It has over 20 magnificent beaches, linked roads that are hilly and narrow. The quaint streets of the Lilliputian port of Gustavia lead past small markets and bakeries. Included among these markets are dozens of small shops selling French perfumes, sportswerar, watches, and crystal. It is no wonder why the port of Gustavia is preferred by many of the luxury cruise lines as a port-of-call.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Dutch St. Maarten is a great place to stop just to shop. Its capital is Philipsburg and fills a narrow stretch of land between Great Bay and the Great Salt Pond. It is a bustling center of international trade with lively shopping streets, cafes, and hotels. Strangely enough it has two main streets called Front Street and Back Street. On Front Street, which is the main thoroughfare, duty-free shops line the road as far as the eye can see. These duty-free shops offer everything from Italian leather goods and Japanese cameras to native crafts. Don't be afraid to venture the alleyways that will lead you to arcades and courtyards filled with flowers. The Courthouse is the most prominent landmark on Front Street. It is a grand white wooden structure topped with a cupola built in 1793. Front Street also includes the Simartin Museum so that visitors can get and excellent introduction to local St. Maartin history. There are also historical forts that are monuments to Philipsburg's strategic importance in St. Maarten's history. Philipsburg has not been left behind in the time, however. It has combined its historical legacy with 20th century excitement. Since its waterfront has become a popular stop for cruise ships, the shore of this town is covered with restaurants, cafes and nightclubs that offer entertainment well into the night.

Sandy Ground, Anguilla

Sandy Ground: The name alone sounds like a wasteland of dunes. But au contraire, this crowded coastal area is filled with popular restaurants, bars and dance clubs. It is impossible to choose just one great location because it is a travelers' haunt. Located about 2 miles (3km) west of The Valley, Sandy Ground has a white-sand beach that is lined with restaurants, a dive shop and a few low-key places to stay and relax. Sandy Ground has a protected fishhook-shaped bay that is the main port of entry for yachts. A large salt pond backs Sandy Ground and was once commercially harvested until the cost of shipping exceeded its value. Now, the quieter northern end of the salt pond is a good place to watch egrets, stilts, herons and other wading birds.

St. John's, Antigua

St. John's, Antigua is one of the oldest trading posts in the Caribbean Sea. It is a mixture of restored buildings that date back to the 1600s and some more modern buildings. One of the great things about St. John's is that most of the sights are within walking distance; so go explore the town as soon as you disembark. As you take a stroll along the streets lining the wharf, you will notice vendors hawking everything from clothing to local crafts, artwork, and jewelry. The Public Market is arrayed with an assortment of tropical fruits that you may not recognize. If you are up for a little bit adventure, sample something that appeals to you. Just make sure to ask if it needs any preparation first.

Seabourn Cruise Line

General

At Seabourn, we are passionate about travel. We believe that traveling for pleasure has a redemptive power that enriches people''s lives. And we believe that people should travel well.

Cruising on a Seabourn ship is unlike any other form of travel. The experience is luxurious, yet relaxed -- elegant, yet casual -- sumptuous, yet understated. Our intimate ships visit the most desirable destinations worldwide, sailing to the heart of landmark cities, as well as to hidden gems where larger vessels cannot follow.

Our ships attract interesting people, who seek to share experiences beyond the expected in places beyond the ordinary. Our acclaimed staff offers a unique style of heartfelt hospitality that is sincere, thoughtful and personal.

Seabourn pioneered small-ship, ultra luxury cruising, and continues to represent the pinnacle of that unique style of travel. Its fleet of intimate, all-suite ships, carrying between 458 and 600 guests each, sail to the world''s most desirable destinations at their peak seasons. On board, guests are served by an award-wining crew. Seabourn''s ships attract accomplished people who enjoy traveling well, and sharing fun and adventures with other interesting people. A great many of them have found the Seabourn cruise experience to be their preferred method of travel, and return regularly to sail with us again and again. We would welcome the opportunity to explore whether that might be true for you.

In 2009, Seabourn again raised the bar with the debut of Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as "a game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment." Although larger than the original Seabourn sisters, Seabourn Odyssey carries just 458 guests and offers a wealth of amenities made possible by the highest ratio of space per guest in the cruise industry, including the largest spa on any luxury ship and generous private verandas on 90 percent of her suites. Seabourn Odyssey has since been joined by two identical sisters, Seabourn Sojourn in 2010 and Seabourn Quest in 2011. Our first 600 passenger ship, Seabourn Encore, was delivered in 2016 and a second 600-passenger ship, Seabourn Ovation, is scheduled to be delivered Spring 2018.

Our expanded fleet allows us to offer the award-winning Seabourn experience to more travelers, in more cruising regions than ever before. No matter where in our wide world you want to travel, we offer you the opportunity to see it all in perfect elegance and ease -- to travel well -- aboard the best small ships in the world.

We would be honored to have you travel with us on your next journey.

Ship

Seabourn Odyssey

cruise overview.

Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. On that occasion, the guests on board for the maiden voyage were all honored as the ship's godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship. Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships. Seabourn Odyssey's 229 ocean-view suites are divided into 13 categories, with interior measurements from 295 to over 1,200 square feet. Ninety percent have private verandas, which add from 65 to over 350 square feet of additional private living space.

Highlights in accommodations are the exceptional Wintergarden Suites, which have a private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and a lounging bed. This suite also features a veranda that is bowed out, giving wonderful views long the side of the ship. The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey's additional size is utilized to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues.

Dining Venues

Some of life's most cherished moments occur around the table, and every meal with Seabourn is another opportunity to celebrate. Seabourn's award-winning cuisine starts with the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavors, prepared a la minute by our skilled chefs and served with pride.

The Restaurant
Before Seabourn, open-seating dining on a cruise ship was unheard of. Come when you like, with whom you please, and be seated as you wish. The room is beautiful, the cuisine is exquisite, and the service is simultaneously flawless, friendly and fun.

The Grill by Thomas Keller
Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

The Colonnade
The Colonnade is a more casual alternative with indoor/outdoor seating, sumptuous buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch. The Colonnade serves regionally-themed, bistro-style dinners with table service nightly aboard Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest.

The Patio
Aboard Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest, the Patio offers casual poolside dining featuring grilled specialties, salads and sides for lunch and dinner, and freshly baked pizzas throughout the afternoon. Lunches and dinners are offered at the Sky Grill, serving grilled specialties and simple sides.

Activities

Helping you create the perfect day is something we take to heart at Seabourn. It's why our lounges and decks are open and inviting, the ambiance relaxed and the variety of activities offered plentiful. You'll find plenty of ways to create the perfect day, over and over again, and all the time to enjoy it. After all, this is your journey, and you can make it anything you want it to be.

Seabourn Conversations
The art of conversation has always been central to the Seabourn experience. Our voyages attract interesting, interested people -people who enjoy talking together, sharing their interests, their adventures and discoveries, and their life stories with longtime and newfound friends. Their enthusiasms and curiosity are far-ranging, and these are what spark their desire to travel the world.

Shopping with the Chef
Shop a bustling Sicilian market, gather spices in Istanbul or explore the local wines of Tuscany and Provence. Wherever you are in the world, you'll enjoy an insider's look at unique regional markets with an expert Seabourn chef as your guide.

Seabourn Square
Seabourn's innovative "living room" replaces the conventional reception lobby with a welcoming lounge filled with comfortable sofas, easy chairs and cocktail tables.

Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil
Seabourn is pleased to announce in partnership with The Onboard Spa by Steiner, we have created a fleet-wide mindful living program offering guests a holistic spa and wellness experience that integrates physical, social, environmental and spiritual well-being. The new Spa and Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil program will be the first-ever of its kind at sea.

The new program will be led by the newly established position, The Wellness Guide. The Guide, will be a certified yoga and meditation practitioner who will inspire and educate all guests through various complimentary classes and gatherings throughout the voyage. Guests who choose to participate in this new program will have a cruise experience that is further enhanced by a holistic mind and body perspective.

Card Rooms
Many veteran cruisers specifically choose cruises that provide at least a few days at sea. Seabourn Odyssey will be a great choice for the sea-loving cruiser who craves that languorous feeling of lazy leisure. There will be loads of on board activities during those days, including a great game of bridge. Odyssey has a beautifully designed card room on Deck 7, forward of Seabourn Square.

Fitness Center
Our Fitness Center features high performance Technogym equipment for cardio and strength training. We also offer a series of complimentary classes including yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. Or, if personal attention is preferred, our personal trainers will design a nutrition and exercise plan that will help you achieve results. Based on your body's particular needs, this personalized session will expose you to the wellness program that works best with your body.

Aboard Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest you may try the Kinesis System. Using a tri-dimensional pulley system, our personal trainers will guide you through a series of exercises designed to improve balance, flexibility and strength.

9-Hole Putting Course
The Retreat - 9-hole contoured golf putting green found on Deck 11.

The Collection

Three duty-free shops are arrayed along the starboard side of the walkway.

The Seabourn Shop features shield-emblazoned logo wear. The Boutique offers fashions, cosmetics, scents and designers' luxury goods. The Collection is a curated selection of fine watches and jewelry including a private showroom for diamonds and other gemstone

Watersports Marina
Enjoy an exclusive Seabourn Marina Day with complimentary kayaking, pedal boats and board sailing from a marina at the ship's stern or from a beach. Conditions and weather permitting and available in select destinations.

6 Outdoor Whirlpools & 2 Swimming Pools

Entertainment & Nightlife

The inviting sound of music, laughter and conversation accompanies the setting of the sun on board our ships. One thing is certain. The day is only just beginning when night falls aboard Seabourn.

Movies Under the Stars
Watch the stars, both on the big screen and twinkling overhead, as you snuggle up for a Hollywood classic or a big hit on the pool deck.

Evening Under the Stars
Dancing anywhere is fun, but dancing outdoors under the stars is something entirely different.

Observation Bar
A stunning round lounge with a square bar and panoramic views. Early Risers' Coffee and Tea is served here every morning, and piano music makes it a great choice for drinks and conversation before and after dinner.

Sky Bar / Grill
If dining outdoors is a favorite of yours, visit the Sky Grill. There, Seabourn chefs serve up casual, al fresco fare. The Sky Grill is the perfect place for a delightful lunch as you watch the world pass by from the top level of the ship. The grill is also open for occasional dinners featuring grilled specialties such as steak and lobster.

The Patio Bar
A favorite place for an early dinner is the Patio Grill. Open even if it is a bit chilly outside, crew members carefully wrap passengers in blankets, if needed.

Grand Salon
The ship's main showroom can accommodate all guests, though it seldom does because of the variety available. Lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and other gatherings are held here in the daytime. In the evenings, live music for dancing before dinner gives way to vocal production shows, cabaret performances, comedy, and classical recitals, as well as more dancing later.

Casino
You will find the casino located on deck 5.

The Club
In The Club, bring your dancing shoes and show off your moves or watch others trip the light fantastic to the live band. The Club is located on deck 5.
